The Magic: The Gathering World Championships ("Worlds") have been held annually since 1994. Originally open to all competitors, the World Championships tournament is now an invitation-only event and the last Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour "stop" of each season. In recent years, the tournament location has alternated between North America, Asia, and Europe.
